Natural Hazards flyer
This flyer was developed in response to a situation where insurance companies, property purchasers and Councils may be using planning maps incorrectly. It is intended to clarify the purpose of planning maps and to give advice to those who find themselves owning or looking to buy a property in an area designated as being potentially subject to a natural hazard.

NZGS Specification - NZGS_0510 Earthworks (Aug 2022)
Along with a number of other contributors, Sally was involved in the development of this generic Earthworks Specification for use on NZ-wide earthworks projects. This specification is intended to be appropriate for use on most residential or light commercial development projects with common soil and rock types found in New Zealand. It is also intended to be flexible enough to be used on major earthworks projects, but may require more significant additions to the project‐specific details by the Geotechnical Designer. A separate short‐form version of this specification is being developed by NZGS for smaller projects.

NZS 4431:2022 Engineered fill construction for lightweight structures
Sally was one of a number of contributors to this document which sets out the process for the geotechnical investigation, design, construction, quality assurance testing, and certification of engineered fill as foundation support for lightweight residential and commercial buildings and associated infrastructure.
